Sisvar is a statistical software package developed by the Department of Statistics at the Federal University of Lavras (DEX/UFLA) in Brazil. It is designed for the design and analysis of experiments, especially in agronomy, animal science, forestry, and related fields. Sisvar offers a menu-driven workflow for analysis of variance (ANOVA), regression modeling, and multiple comparison procedures. It supports commonly used experimental designs, including completely randomized (CRD), randomized complete block (RCBD), Latin square, factorial, and split-plot arrangements. The software provides post hoc tests such as Tukey and Scott-Knott, along with residual diagnostics, data transformations, and tools to generate clear, publication-ready tables and graphs. With its straightforward interface and concise outputs, Sisvar is well suited for teaching and routine research. It is a lightweight, Windows-based application widely used in academic and research settings in Latin America and beyond.
